“ Best Mexican food in Gilroy, and I've tried a decent number of places here already. I'm also from San Diego, so my standards are high when it comes to mexican food. Their breakfast burritos are consistently great. We normally order to go, but this last time we decided to dine in, and it was the best decision. My partner got a chimichanga and I got the combo plate with a cheese enchilada and a carne asada tostada. The beans, rice, and meat were amazing. The service was very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food is fairly priced and the portions are HUGE. We spent a good 20 minutes talking about how good the food tasted as we were eating it. It's that good we are still talking about it. ”

“ Los Pericos is a family owned restaurant. All of their food is delicious. The prices are very reasonable. From Chili Rellenos to Camerones A La Diabla to chili verde and carne asada tacos or tostadas, all of the food is so good. I take my kids to eat here almost every weekend. Their beans are so good. They make a fresh batch everyday. Lately, I have been getting the chili rellano and carnitas tostada cobo with rice and beans. It is fantastic. All the people who work there are so nice and helpful. You gotta come check it out I promise you that you won't regret it. ”
